As hands-on, owner-operators, our founders are personally invested in every project. Their dedication to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do at Elemental HVAC.
Dan leads strategy and sales at Elemental HVAC. With a business degree from UBC and experience at McKinsey & Company, he combines strategic expertise with a passion for energy-efficient solutions. He’s passionate about making sustainable choices affordable and making it easy for local families to reduce their carbon footprint. Dan lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.
Jonathan leads operations at Elemental HVAC. With 27 years of experience in the HVAC industry across hands-on and managerial roles, he brings deep technical expertise and a commitment to innovation, quality workmanship, and premium equipment. Jonathan oversees our team of technicians, ensuring every project meets the highest standards. He lives in Georgetown with his wife and three children.

Yes. We provide full installation, repairs, emergency service, and ongoing maintenance for all heating, cooling, geothermal, air quality, and hot water systems. Whether we installed your system or not, we can service it.
We install and service both:
• Tank (conventional): Lower upfront cost, reliable, ideal for medium-use households.
• Tankless: Endless hot water, higher efficiency, space-saving design, excellent for busy families or homes with high demand.
We can help size the right system for your home.
Both are heat pumps, but geothermal uses stable underground temperatures, while air-source heat pumps use outdoor air.

Yes. We offer fast emergency service for no-heat, no-cooling, and hot water failures. Our technicians are fully licensed and equipped to diagnose and repair most issues on the first visit.
Absolutely. Geothermal systems work extremely well in the GTA’s cold winters and warm summers. They offer major long-term savings—typically 40–50% on heating and cooling costs—plus they’re very quiet, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly. Many customers also qualify for incentives depending on current programs.
We recommend professional maintenance once per year for furnaces and air conditioners, and twice per year for heat pumps (spring and fall). Regular service improves efficiency, extends equipment life, reduces breakdowns, and keeps warranties valid.
